Forced underfiring is based on the scientific principle of feeding coal to the fire from below, under forced draft. Pictured is the plant at Cleveland, and at Portland. An Iron fireman installation provides complete firing control for homes and for commercial heating and power plants. The Coal Flow Iron Fireman Feeds direct from coal bin to furnace. Disbound from a large 1938 construction book, these unique 11 page technical data specifications sheets contain a small amount of residual glue, and pages are loose.
