Original 1893 4 3/8 inch x 6 3/4 inch Print titled IN NORMANDY and a 2 1/2 inch x 3 1/2 inch Print titled IN THE OPEN
From the paintings by Contant Troyon (1810 - 1865). A French painter of the Barbizon school. In the early part of his career he painted mostly landscapes. It was only comparatively late in life that Troyon found his métier as a painter of animals, and achieved international recognition.
