Highly polished and very decorative.
This compass will be shipped with the compass fluid still inside. It is in excellent condition and working (of course, it will need professional adjustments and installation with a binnacle to make it functional at sea). Due to its enormous weight, the item will be packed in three separate boxes for easier handling. The light bulb has not been tested & the attached electrical wiring needs to be replaced. The compass card appears to have an inclination balance weight loose. The bronze has been polished and the instrument is clean, ready for display. See images for its condition.
