KARINGA BAY ridden by BRIAN ROUSE beats MARQUETRY (PAT EDDERY) in the Washington Singer Stakes at Newbury.
Karinga Bay (by Ardross) was a top class performer. He finished 2nd to French Derby winner Sanglamore at York and then ran an excellent 5th behind Quest For Fame in the Epsom Derby. He gained a deserved win in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood and continued to compete at the highest level.
Excellent condition. Dated 11th August 1989. Official press stamp on reverse.
