FLASHING STEEL won 14 of his 33 races for owner Charles Haughey. He finished fourth in the 1994 Gold Cup and is pictured going to post for the 1995 renewal. Unfortunately he fell at the 13th fence but on his next start defied 12 stone to win the Jameson Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.
