  • The Vulcan was a V Bomber operated by the RAF from 1956 to 1984 performing several different uses as strategic nuclear bombers to reconnaissance, to refuelling tankers. The Vulcan had a characteristic V shape to its wings and one of the last operational roles was during the Falklands War.
