Seller's Description

Harmony Records was a label owned by Columbia Records. It was originally used as a label for low-price 78 rpm records in the 1920s and 1930s. Harmony records were acoustically recorded even though electrical recording had taken over in the record industry.

This recording (#105-H) is in a well worn condition, rating just a G+. Most of the sheen is gone and there are numerous scuffs and scratches, so background hiss and pop should be expected. There are no chips, cracks, or skips.

Offered here are two waltz tempos. Side 141332 offers, "Melody Of Love" performed by The Melody Waltz Orchestra. Side 141537 lists, "The Prisoner's Song", performed by the Harmonians with the chorus sung by Irving Kaufman.
