All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An original, vintage screenplay for this Hammer Jack the Ripper movie, now regarded as one of the best later classic Hammer horrors. The script by L.W. Davidson is dated December 24th 1970. The script comprises 110 pages ( there are many more pages in fact as added pages are in this script, for example page 87 has 87a, 87b, 87c added in ). Clearly a production used copy, the white original version pages have a number of changes and deleted scenes as well as the name of the Ripper, the name being crossed out throughout the script (he is simply referred in the final movie as 'the Ripper'). Also, interestingly, there is a strong hint of Pritchard falling for Anna (not in the final movie). In fact the majority of pages are pink pages which are referred to as NEW PAGE, showing that the final movie had a great number of alterations made to the original story. The script is card covered with a cut-out pane for the title and bound by two silver brads. Such an item rarely surfaces, especially such association copies.  Rare

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good ++ -:   complete, some very light outer edge wear to covers; internally very good and clean with some crossing out of scenes, additional dialogue and changes to details;  overall, certainly very good.
