Alexandra of Denmark (1844 – 1925) was Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions and Empress of India as the wife of King Edward VII. She was Princess of Wales from 1863 to 1901, the longest anyone has ever held that title.
From ‘The Royal History of England from the Earliest Period to the Present Time’ by Henry Tyrrell, W.C. Staffordf and John Sherer, Published in 1876 by J.G. Murdoch, 41, Castle Street, Holborn, London.
