Seller's Description
This is an old unused black and white/sepia postcard of Guildford. I have no real idea of the exact age of this card, but it looks like it is from the early to mid 1900s. The top row of photos are – left to right – The Garden of Remembrance, The High Street and Ruins of St. Catherine’s Chapel. The middle row are – Castle Keep and Gardens, The Cathedral and The River Wey. The bottom row are – Shere, The Stocks, Shalford and finally Abinger Hammer. It is a Mason’s Alpha Series, numbered GF/C/2 and the card is in very good condition -- no creases or obvious marks, even the corners remain mostly sharp.
