Seller's Description
Grave Marker used for the members of the Royal Neighbors of America. In 1888, the wives of the Modern Woodmen of America gathered together to form a social organization called Royal Neighbors of America, which became a fraternal benefit society chartered in 1895. They became the first ever to offer life insurance for women and began insuring children in 1918. These grave markers were used on the graves of the society members.
Made of cast aluminum, the marker is 20" high and 9" wide. The first picture shows the actual color of the marker and is of the back view, which has 3 rings for inserting a flag.
