Seller's Description

Granny's Quilting Shapes - Lancaster Rose - Dark Green and White

I have reduced the price of this item as it has become all jumbled up.  I had it standing in a box and didn't realize that all the pieces would fall to the bottomof the package.  Still sealed and all the pieces are still there, just jumbled up.  Sorry.

First off, I know nothing about doing piece quilts, except that I have never done one, nor have I wanted to do one.  My grandmother tried to teach me, but I could never really get the hang of it.  I have always preferred the embroidery or applique quilt kits.  If you are one of those that love to do these pieced kits, my hat is off to you.  I know they turn out very beautiful, I just don't have the patience that you do.

I hope that there is someone with more knowledge than I do to make sense of my attempt on these kits.  There are five and I hope that I do justice to each.  These were my grandmother's and even my mom never got around to do them.  They are from the 1980's or 1990's, but other than that, I don't know, all I can do is tell you what is on the packages.

There are 9 different stacks of fabric, 5 are the dark green and 4 are the solid white.  It was hard to get the dark green to show correctly, as the fabric was placed on a dark blue background cardboard.  As you can see in the picture, the stacks have slid around.

The label says this kit was made in Kings Mountain, NC.  The quilter is supposed to supply strips, border, backing and batting.

Again, according to the package, there are supposed to be enough pieces for a full size quilt, and to make approximately 30 roses .

I would imagine that the fabric is cotton / polyester, the package doesn't state fabric content.

The general instructions are included.

This is the one of a number of embroidery kits....tablecloths, napkins, quilt blocks, lap quilts and quilt kits.  Please check back often to see what is new.  All of these kits are the older kits, 1980's, 1990's, early 2000.  Between my mom and myself we purchased more than we could ever get done.  Now what is left needs to find younger hands and eyes.

Postage will be $5.00, sent by prirority  mail and shipped next day.

Got a question?  I would be more than happy to answer.  I do combine shipping and will send you an invoice with the correct total.

Thanks for looking.
