Micromount specimen from Pinnacles Mine, Arkaroola, Flinders Ranges, S.A. Collected in 1980's.
ABOUT OUR MICROMOUNTS These are mostly from the Robert French collection . Robert collected extensively from the 1970's to 2000's in particular through the Flinders Ranges and Northern areas of South Australia. Many of the localities that are represented in this collection have long been closed to further collecting.
Micromounts are mounted in a 30mm cube so pics will give you an idea of the specimen size. The close-up was taken with a Digital Microscope at around 25X magnification
