These awesome Giant-Size Comics were first released in the summer of 1974 and are coveted by Comics’ Collector’s today!
 I am the original owner...these are all bought by me off the newsstands when they were released! I’ll be listing many sets of these in the coming weeks!
1 – July 1974 – VG/FN! “Ship of Fiends! Is a 30 page saga by Len Wein, Ross Andru & Don Heck as Spider-Man is off to intercept a ship carrying a new vaccine that may help Aunt May pull through her current illness. At the Baxter Building & Johnny Storm into lends him a plane get to the boat which Dr. Maxfield is on & changes to his Peter Parker identity. And bumps into Count Dracula, the lord of the Vampires, who is looking for Dr. Maxfield, as the vaccine may interfere with his plans one day! The Mob are also after the eccentric Dr. and soon meet Dracula! Spider-Man finds A.J. Maxfield- whose full name is Alice Joyce Maxfield. Spider-Man then explains his situation to her, and she agrees to take the vaccine to New York with Spider-Man, as Dracula turns into a Bat & flies away! “On the Trail of the Amazing Spider-Man!” Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko & Artie Simek shows an art thief frames Spider-Man & the Human Torch tries to hunt him down. Spider-Man convinces the Torch of his innocence, and the two track down the thief together! rp Strange Tales Annual #2 ([September] 1963)!
2 – Oct. 1974 – VF! “Masterstroke!” by Len Wein, Ross Andru & Al Milgrom! When Spider-Man puts stops a robbery at the Guggenheim Museum, the perps tell him they were hired by a Kung Fu master named Shang-Chi & as a diversion while destroys a power plant. Spider-Man leaves & all of the thugs are electrocuted to death by their costumes, as punishment for having talked! Shang-Chi himself is wandering through the city when he finds some men wearing Spider-Man masks and shirts with Spider-Man's logo on it attacking an old man, who says that Fu Manchu has formed an alliance with Spider-Man, and that Spider-Man has been sent to destroy a certain power plant! A fantastic Battle happens and soon Sir Denis Nayland Smith tells Shang-Chi that Fu Manchu is planning something big on the roof of the Empire State Building and they get there and find Fu Manchu, as well as many of Fu’s men, dressed as construction workers. Shang-Chi's martial arts easily take care of them & Spider-Man arrives, having tied up giant Tak up with webbing. With their help, all of Fu Manchu's men are easily defeated, but Fu Manchu himself has escaped in the confusion! “...To Become an Avenger!” By Stan Lee, John Romita, Don Heck & Mike Esposito, as The Avengers decide to ask Spider-Man to join the team but first he has to complete a test to prove himself. The test is to capture the Hulk!! r/p The Amazing Spider-Man Annual # 3 (November 1966)!
3 – Jan. 1975 – VF! “The Yesterday Connection!” by Gerry Conway, Ross Andru & Mike Esposito! Spider-Man sees a Morse Code message at a demolition site where He is met by a blue-skinned who uses a translation device to communicate with him. Desinna, shows Spidey events from forty years ago… Doc Savage and his men are attending the dedication ceremony for that building and Doc prevents the assassination of Mayor LaGuardia! Doc and his men are met by Desinna who reveals that she is from a parallel dimension & explains a Scientist, Tarros, was transformed into a deadly electrical being and transported to our dimension. Desinna crossed over to an earlier point in time to enlist the aid of Doc Savage. When Tarros arrives, the heroes battle him until Doc devises a method of using chemicals to trap him in the buildings cornerstone! Now, the building’s demolition is about to free Tarros… so Spidey breaks open the cornerstone and releases the monster. He had deduced that Desinna was lying to him and that Tarros was more victim than villain. Tarros and Desinna vanish back to their own dimension, and Spider-Man senses the spirit of Doc Savage smiling his approval across the decades! “Duel With Daredevil!” by Stan Lee, Steve Ditko & Sam Rosen! When the Circus of Crime comes to town, they advertise Spider-Man will be appearing in an attempt to fill the big top before they rob it. Spider-Man sees the advertisements and decides he will show up. He is hypnotized along with the rest of the audience, but unfortunately for the Circus of Crime, the Daredevil is in attendance and immune to the Ringmaster's hat! r/p Amazing Spider-Man #16 (Sept. 1964)!
4 – Apr. 1975 – VG/FN – AUTOGRAPHED BY ARTIST ROSS ANDRU on 1/23/1993 at a NYC Comicon! “To Sow the Seeds of Death's Day!” by Gerry Conway, Ross Andru, Mickey Demeo &  Stan Goldberg! 3rd full Punisher app.! Spider-Man, after fighting the Punisher, is shown a video of a deadly das attack…now in the hands of Gangster Moses Magnum in NYC! They team up and attack his headquarters, but Spidey gets taken prisoner and dumped into a South American prison camp! The Punisher shows up and all hell breaks loose, as the heroes catch up to Magnum, who is about to use the gas on them, but the Punisher shoots the canister and kills Magnum instead! The Wondrous World of Dr. Strange! By Stan Lee, Steve Ditko & Sam Rosen sees Doctor Strange and Spider-Man battle Xandu, who has the Wand of Watoomb, as they weave between pocket Universes! r/p Doctor Strange #179 (April 1969)!
5 – July 1975 – VF/NM! Apr. 1975 – VG/FN – AUTOGRAPHED BY ARTIST ROSS ANDRU & INKER MIKE ESPOSITO on 2/9/1992 at a NYC Comicon! “Beware the Path of the Monster!” by Gerry Conway, Ross Andru & Mike Esposito (credited as Mickey Demeo)! Spidey sees a news report about the Man-Thing, and hearing that the creature has been seen in Citrusville, Florida, Spider-Man convinces J. Jonah Jameson to send him on a photo assignment to take photos of Man-Thing! Peter then calls up Curt Connors, who lives in FL. & asks for his help! He transforms into The Lizard & goes to find the Man-Thing and use him against the world! Spider-Man has to take on The Lizard, who controls all of the reptiles in the swamp, as well as the Man-Thing! “Where Flies the Beetle...!” by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko! When the Beetle is released from prison he plans to take his revenge on the Human Torch and ends up fighting both the Torch and Spider-Man! r/p Amazing Spider-Man #21 (Feb. 1965)
6 – Nov. 1975 – VF! “The Web and the Flame!” by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber & Mike Esposito (Mickey Demeo)! Spider-Man & The Human Torch take on Mysterio and The Wizard! r/p Amazing Spider-Man Annual #4 (Nov. 1967)! And there are several 2-3 page extra’s!
