These awesome Marvel Comics Giant-Size Comics were first released in the summer of 1974 and are coveted by Comics’ Collector’s today! I am the original owner...these are all bought by me off the newsstands when they were released! I’ll be listing many sets of these in the coming weeks!
“The New Iron Man Meets the Angel!" by Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Paul Reinman & Sam Rosen sees The X-Men’s Angel is affected by an atomic test done at one of Stark's weapons plants. His personality is altered and now he wants to join the Evil Mutants. The X-Men call the Avengers for help but only Iron Man is available…so Iron Man tracks him down and a battle in the skies over NYC is spectacular! Afterwards, Iron Man explains to the Angel that his personality was affected by radiation from the atomic explosion. The X-Men arrive on the scene, having observed the battle, and thank Iron Man for saving their teammate from his evil self. Iron Man subsequently flies back to Stark Industries. On his way, Professor X communicates to him, telling him he's now indebted to the Golden Gladiator! "Hawkeye, the Marksman!" r/p Hawkeye’s very 1st appearance from Tales of Suspense # 57! As Iron Man muses…” It seems that every masked, unusual criminal in the east tries to attack my weapons factory sooner or later! Every time I turn around I'm menaced by some crackpot or spy!” After robbing a Jewelry store, Hawkeye is stopped by a car, whose driver lets Hawkeye get in to escape. The driver is none other than the mysterious villainess Black Widow, who captivates Hawkeye with her beauty! She convinces him to take on Iron Man...and it’s a pretty good brawl! "In Mortal Combat with Captain America!" r/p Tales of Suspense #58! Kraven the Hunter and the Chameleon are smuggling themselves back into the country. When they reach the coast, Kraven begins crawling up a cliff when he's spotted by Iron Man and easily defeated. However, Chameleon goes unnoticed and takes this as a chance to prove himself superior to Kraven by defeating Iron Man. A wounded Captain America tells I.M. he was attacked by The Chameleon and now he’s impersonating him! At Avengers Mansion, Tony attacks the REAL Cap, thinking he’s the Chameleon! The fight spills into Stark’s factory, where Giant-Man finds another Cap trying to kill them with a bulldozer! The Wasp explains that ants were witnessing the fight between Captain America and Iron Man, and Giant-Man was picking up their signals with his cybernetic impulse!!
