Original French 11 inch x 15 1/4 inch page with printed colour illustrations titled LES AVIONS ALLEMANDS DANS LA COUR DES INVALIDES

Watercolours by Henri-Lucien Cheffer (1880 - 1957). A French painter, engraver and illustrator. During the First World War, Cheffer produced many watercolors depicting scenes of battle and destruction. He was chiefly known for his postage stamp designs, the first of which he designed in 1911.
