Seller's Description
A beautiful stoneware mug or small stein, highly decorated in a blue and grey glaze. Marked on the base '3436 - 0.3' and has a shield with the initials 'MR'. Marzi & Remy were founded in 1879 in Hesse-Nassan, Prussia (now Höhr-Grenzhausen Rhineland-Palatinate) and closed in 1994 when it was sold to S.P. Gerz. It has two pin prick chips on the rim and a little knocking to the beadwork, please see photos, otherwise in good condition. A lovely decorative item. Height 10.5cms, width 7cms, width at base 8.25cms.
