pfas161 Two very worn antique 1920s postcards of early boxing champion Georges Carpentier who was a French boxer, actor and World War I pilot. He fought mainly as a light heavyweight and heavyweight in a career lasting from 1908 to 1926. Nicknamed the "Orchid Man", he stood 5 feet 11+12 inches and his fighting weight ranged from 147 to 175 pounds.- one postcard is following his victory of the Beckett Carpentier fight on Dec 4th 1919 - both are very aged and worn - creasing - lowest quality grading but very rare original early official postcard souvenirs.
