RA7(-n)  This is a beautiful undated but modern published official postcard from Londons Royal Academy Of Arts for this great 1923 painting by George Clausen called Still Life With Tulips with artist details, dates, dimensions etc & Royal Academy Of Arts logo on reverse being the official souvenir from when exhibited unused and mint. 

At the age of fourteen, George Clausen was apprenticed to the drawing office of Messrs Trollope, a London firm of decorators. While working there he attended evening classes at the National Art Training School, South Kensington. Clausen was a founder-member of the (NEAC) and was committed to reforming the selection process of the Royal Academy. He was the most widely respected of the NEAC painters, promoting the interests of the Glasgow Boys. In 1904 Clausen was appointed Professor of Painting at the Royal Academy, a post he held for two years.
