100% Original Genunie Officer's Badge to the British Colonial Royal Hong Kong Regiment (V) in Silver colour with two lugs to the rear
It is in new condition and still in the original packaging...
The RHKR(V) was disband during 1995... This is a badge getting hard to find~~!!
These badge have come from the auction of the Hong Kong Government supplies Department which held on dated 21st Nov, 1997 during the British Government "Hand Over' Period~~!!!
Badge was made by "Lee Lam Ming" Metal Work who is the official supplier to the Hong Kong Government in Hong Kong...
Little History of the RHKR(V):-
The Hong Kong Volunteers were first formed in 1854 and were renamed as The Hong Kong Altillery and Rifle Volunteer Corps in 1878. In 1917 they were again renamed as, The Hong Kong Defence Corps. In 1920 the name of the Corps was again changed to, The Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps. In 1961 the Corps became The Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers) and were awarded the "Royal" title in 1970. This illustrious Regiment was disbanded in 1995.
