Original French 12 inch x 9 1/2 inch well illustrated 4 page Brochure for the 1947 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Drama FRIEDA starring Mai Zetterling, David Farrar, Flora Robson, Glynis Johns, Albert Lieven, Barbara Everest, Gladys Henson, Ray Jackson, Gerard Heinz and Arthur Howard.
Anti-German prejudice nearly scuppers the new marriage of a returned Prisoner of War who brings home the girl who helped him to escape. A fervent Nazi brother-in-law does not help, and the husband is too ready to believe the worst in his wife. For all that, it faces squarely the problem of post-war relations.
The brochure is in very good condition with pinholes in both right corners.
