Original Belgian 15 3/4 inch x 21 inch Poster for the 1942 Charles Frend Ealing Studios Wartime Drama THE FOREMAN WENT TO FRANCE, original narrative by J.B. Priestley and starring Tommy Trinder, Constance Cummings, Clifford Evans, Robert Morley, Gordon Jackson, Charles Victor, John Williams, Francis L. Sullivan and Paul Bonifas.
Based on the real experiences of Melbourne Johns, who managed to retrieve some vital machinery in occupied France from under the noses of the advancing Germans.
The poster is in very good folded condition with slight wear along the top edge and a tax stamp in the right border. As with many vintage Belgian posters the top border has been trimmed off.
