The 1991 Fleer baseball card set consist of 720 cards that measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". The cards are in order by player alphabetically within each team. The teams are in order based on their respective performance during the prior year. A number of the cards in the set can be found with photos cropped (very slightly) differently as Fleer used two separate printers in their attempt to maximize production. The 1991 Fleer Baseball set holds a special place in the hearts of collectors, even though it wasn’t particularly well-received due to its lack of star rookie power and somewhat underwhelming design. However, nostalgia and memories often make certain cards more valuable than their market price suggests. Let’s dive into some highlights from this set:

1991 Fleer #710 Griffey Jr. & Bonds Second Generation Stars:

This card features Ken Griffey Jr. and Barry Bonds, both sons of former MLB stars. The bright yellow borders and their smiling faces make it visually appealing. While Bonds’ career ended in controversy due to the PED scandal, Griffey Jr. went on to become a Hall of Famer.
