Whilst the majority of refilled cartridges give excellent print quality, this depends on the state of your used cartridge. Since refilling is a DIY activity there is also potential for you do something wrong. If a fault develops with your cartridge you may reclaim the unused toner and use it in another one.
This printer uses a separate imaging drum unit. The toner cartridge is a simple design with little that can go wrong.
Instructions are included for refilling with the "Slide Shutter and pour" method, as additional information to help you with the task.
The cartridge also needs a replacement chip to reset it, as the original chip locks out. The chip is not included but it is available separately. The individual bottles and chips are available at the at the TonerTopUp online store.
