Original 10 1/8 inch x 8 inch Black and White Still of LESLIE HOWARD & ANNE FIRTH in the 1942 Leslie Howard Biographical Drama THE FIRST OF THE FEW, with a screenplay by Miles Malleson & Anatole de Grunwald.
Aeroplane designer R.J. Mitchell overcomes apathy and opposition to build the Spitfire fighter plane, but the effort damages his health and he dies before the Battle of Britain.
The still, on doubleweight paper, is in very good condition.
