Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1984 Richard Lester Comedy FINDERS KEEPERS, based on the novel by Charles Dennis and starring Michael O'Keefe, Beverly D'Angelo, Louis Gossett Jr., Pamela Stephenson, Ed Lauter, David Wayne, Brian Dennehy and Jim Carrey.
On the run from the police and a female roller derby team, scam artist Michael Rangeloff (O’Keefe) steals a coffin and boards a train, pretending to be a soldier bringing home a dead war buddy. The train ride turns into far more than Michael bargains for.
The poster art is by Jack Davis (1924 - 2016). An American cartoonist and illustrator, known for his advertising art, magazine covers, film posters, record album art and numerous comic book stories. He was one of the founding cartoonists for Mad (an American humour magazine founded in 1952 by editor Harvey Kurtzman and publisher William Gaines) in 1952. His cartoon characters are characterized by extremely distorted anatomy, including big heads, skinny legs and large feet.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
