Storyline

This is a true story.

A naive young soldier shocks his family when he returns home on leave accompanied by a worldly older woman whom he introduces as his wife. The young man's mother strongly disapproves of the relationship, and urges him to seek a divorce, but he is blinded by love. The marriage fails, but the young man is brutally murdered before the divorce is final. Convinced of his wife's guilt, his mother embarks on a one-woman crusade to bring her to justice.

This is the full 180 minute (3 hours) miniseries of this movie. A 2 disc set, the first disc has Part 1 of the movie and disc 2 has Part 2. This is a new, sealed DVD set.  It is rare to find the complete miniseries. The original 2003 DVD release (Running time of 105 min) is a 1 disc version with numerous scenes cut.

This movie is standard definition (full screen). There has never been a widescreen version for this movie. You may have to adjust your television from widescreen to 4:3 setting (common for SD movies and shows) for proper video aspect.

This movie was originally broadcast on NBC in November of 1993 as the movie of the week and broadcast on 2 different nights. It was originaally titled "A Matter Of Justice" and was retitled "Final Justice" when released on DVD. This is one of the best television dramas ever made and also one of Patty Duke's best performances.
