Cover commemorating Charles M. Russell, the "Cowboy Artist".

This addressed First Day Cover includes a cachet by Fleetwood, which includes a portrait of the artist and a picture of a native American Indian artist.

The 5 cent C.M Russell stamp (Scott #1243) was machine canceled in Great Falls, Montana, on March 19, 1964, the First Day of Issue of this stamp, with a First Day of Issue slogan cancel.

Size: 6 1/2 x 3 5/8". Cover has never been sealed. The position of the address labels varies slightly on these hand-crafted items.
