Fireside Books released this 132 page spectacular, written by Stan Lee, as some of the Fantastic Four's greatest adventures unfold! Stan dedicated this book to Carl Burgos and Bill Everette, the creator's of The Human Torch and Sub-Mariner, repectively!
Fantastic Four # 4 is reprinted in it's entirety, as The FF are searching for the runaway Human Torch, who finds the amnesiac Sub-Mariner in a NYC Bowery flophouse! The Torch drops Sub-Mariner into the sea and Namor regains his memory...then sends Giganto to smash New York! The Thing walks into Giganto with a bomb and blows him up. The Human Torch sweeps the Sub-Mariner and Giganto away into the sea. The Sub-Mariner says "I'll be back!"
Next, Stan discusses the ground-breaking Galactus trilogy from FF 49-51 and this award-winning story is reprinted! Not counting Black Bolt with The Inhumans and the Fantastic Four put an end to Maximus's plan to destroy all the humans!! Plus we meet Wyatt Wingfoot for the first time!
Finally, "The Power and the Pride"! from FF # 86 is reprinted, as Doctor Doom invites them in for a little dinner and piano recital...but all is not what it seems!!
