Original British 11 inch x 17 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1944 Anthony Asquith Drama FANNY BY GASLIGHT, based on the novel by Michael Sadleir and starring Phyllis Calvert, James Mason, Wilfrid Lawson, Stewart Granger, Jean Kent, Nora Swinburne, Margaretta Scott, Cathleen Nesbitt, Helen Haye, John Laurie, Stuart Lindsell, Amy Veness, Esma Cannon and Peter Jones.

A dissolute Victorian aristocrat manipulates the lives of those around him for his own gain, but sows the seeds of his downfall when he sets out to seduce a government minister's innocent daughter, whose life is dogged by ill fortune.

The trade advert is in very good condition with one vertical fold and 8 staple holes along it.
