The Extron MTP T 15HD A Twisted Pair Transmitter with EDID Minder sends high resolution video and audio signals to a compatible MTP receiver. The MTP T 15HD A  features EDID Minder, which automatically manages EDID communication to ensure that the source powers up properly and reliably outputs content for display. It accepts computer-video, HD and standard definition video, and audio inputs on female 15-pin HD connectors and 3.5 mm stereo audio jacks. The video and summed mono audio signals are transmitted over a single CAT 5-type cable to a compatible twisted pair receiver. The MTP T 15HD A also features a local monitor output for systems that require a local display.
