Seller's Description
The Essex Record Label was started in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by David L. Miller in 1951. The label was active into 1956 with little commercial success other than some of the earliest recordings of Bill Haley and the Comets.
This early 1950's pressing is mostly clean, and shows no cracks or skips. Very tiny edge chips do NOT affect the play! An excellent high gloss remains. Some background hiss but still sounds excellent!
Side 328-A presents the classic sound of "Three O'Clock In The Morning", and side 328-B, "Doreen". Both instrumentals are performed by Monty Kelly And His Orchestra.
