Seller's Description

bg883  A fascinating collection of war postcards all sent from a soldier in Ering during the outbreak of war - The fronts show scenes of heading to battle but what is most collectible is that these are all from the same soldier stationed out in Ering in the Bavarian region of Germany during 1915 sending four 1915 messages that need translation as they could be sent from the frontline and potentially about the fighting (see image 2) - They all carry Ering and Feldpost hallmarks and are dated 11th April 1915, 14th May 1915, 21st May 1915 and 25th May 1915. They all have some ageing and corner fraying, some surface etc graded good plus used condition.   Please see all my other postcards from this German WW1 collection most with messages from soldiers on their reverse from the war.
