Publishing House of the Communist Party of Latvia (1929). 888 pages: 1184 pages. The first Soviet legal encyclopedia, compiled under the editorship of Pyotr Ivanovich Stuchka (1865-1932), a Soviet and Latvian lawyer, one of the organizers of the Communist Party of Latvia and head of the first Soviet government of the Latvian SSR (1918-1920). From 1919 to 1920, he held the post of Deputy Peoples Commissar of Justice, then served as Chairman of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR, participated in drafting codes, organized and was the first head of the Institute of Soviet Law.
