The documentary uses archival footage to tell the story plus additional interviews with trainer Michael Matz, assistant trainer Peter Brette, jockey Edgar Prado, Dr. Dean Richardson - chief surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania's NewBoltonCenter and the emergency medical team that tended to BARBARO immediately after his mishap.
