Original World War 2 business industry trade magazine vintage ad for DUREZ PLASTICS AND CHEMICALS, INC. of North Tonawanda, NY. The Summer It Never Got Hotter Than 68 degrees. Ben Nash designs air conditioning units. You remember that summer, it was shortly after the boys came home from Berlin and Tokio. You could still fry an egg on the sidewalk of a thousand Main Streets and the heat danced before your eyes at the beach, but indoors, wherever you went, the air was fresh and cool, 68 degrees cool! Old 1943 WW2 era propaganda magazine advertisement.
