Original Italian 1975 Re-Release 55 inch x 78 inch 4-Fogli Poster for the 1938 Zoltan Korda Adventure THE DRUM, written by A.E.W. Mason and starring Sabu, Raymond Massey, Valerie Hobson, Roger Livesey, David Tree, Desmond Tester, Francis L. Sullivan, Julien Mitchell, Gerald Campion, Leo Genn, Edward Lexy, Graham Moffatt, Guy Rolfe, Ralph Truman and Edward Underdown.
Indian prince Sabu joins up with the British army to battle his rotten uncle in this colourful Raj tale.
Poster art by Mario de Berardinis (1931 - 1977). De Berardinis began painting movie posters in the late 1940s through to the 1970s, when he created scores of brilliant designs. He usually signed his work Mos, or sometimes Almos, but some pieces bear his full name. He worked until his death in 1977.
The poster is in very good folded condition in two separate sheets.
