Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1975 Stuart Rosenberg Thriller THE DROWNING POOL, based on the novel by Ross MacDonald and starring Paul Newman as Lew Harper, Joanne Woodward, Anthony Franciosa, Murray Hamilton, Gail Strickland, Melanie Griffith, Linda Haynes, Richard Jaeckel, Paul Koslo, Joe Canutt, Andrew Robinson, Coral Browne and Richard Derr.
Harper is brought to Louisiana to investigate an attempted blackmail scheme. He soon finds out that it involves an old flame of his and her daughter. He eventually finds himself caught in a power struggle between the matriarch of the family and a greedy oil baron, who wants their property.
The poster is in good folded condition with an extra vertical fold, several corner and edge pinholes, a hole at the left cross fold and a small hole at the centre of the right edge.
