All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item: ULTRA RARE PRIME HAMMER  A very RARE original Hammer Films contract for Peter Cushing to play Van Helsing in Hammer's original 'Dracula' movie. The contract comprises 5 carbon copied pages along with 4 printed 'Conditions of Engagement' pages these being standard form whilst the carbon pages relate uniquely to Peter's engagement with specific details relating to this role including his 5 week period of filming, his fee, additonal fees if extra time required etc. The contract is signed by Michael Carreras and Peter Cushing with Peter's signature signed over a six penny postage stamp (a legal nicety of the era); it is also signed by Peter's agent John Redway. Peter was the main, above title, star of the movie that was to become Hammer's iconic exemplar of the horror film.

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good ++   -:  no fold; very good corners and edges with minimal wear; pages all secure; green contract ribbon intact; overall a very good copy of a most special item.
