All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An extremely rare / unique original Hammer Films unsigned contract folder for Hammer's top title movie. The folder comprises both front and back covers in manilla with a title pane with DRACULA typed on it; the covers are separated. The contents are A Statement of Production Cost and while not every aspect is filled in, the figures for key aspects are shown:  Story and Script, Producer and Director Fees, Assistant Directors and Continuity, Camera Crews, Stills Camera Staff, Wardrobe Designer and Staff, Make-up Artists, Hairdressers, Cast, Stand-in and Doubles, Crowds, Costumes and Wigs. In addition there is a figure for Total Direct Costs, Finance and Legal Charges, Overheads and a Total Production Cost plus a Production Contingency amount. Insightful information on the movie.

Also within this folder are nine unsigned contracts:. 1. Geoffrey Bayldon as the Porter (this was signed for me by the wonderful Mr Bayldon who was delighted to see this item from his past); 2. Michael Gough as Arthur Holmwood; 3. George Woodbridge as the landlord (this includes the fee he was paid); 4.John Van Eyssen as Jonathon Harker, 5. William Sherwood as the Priest; 6. Melissa Stribling as Mina Holmwood; 7. Janina Faye as Tania; 8. Carol Marsh as Lucy Holmwood (with her fees included) and 9. Christopher Lee as Dracula (with his fees included). An astonishing item for the collector relating to this most important Hammer movie and their most collected title; a rarity never to be replicated.   Rare / Unique

Size:    8.75 x 13.75 inches approx. 

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :   Very Good  -:   vertical folds to the contracts; this file, I understand, was thrown away so there are water marks on the documents; the folder front / back is separated and edges worn; however all is legible within the folder.
