Original Vintage, Rare, Hammer Films Ephemera
All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.
This item: A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An extremely rare original Hammer Film signed contract for Hammer's top title movie. The contract dated 1957 is 4 pages with 2 pages printed. The contract concerns the financing of the movie and originally has a limit of £6,666 or less but this is typed out by a series of xxxx. Fascinatingly the original title is xxxx out also and "Dracula" inserted above the crossed-out title. A superb series of rare signatures complete the contract: 1. Will Hammer (1887 - 1957); James Carreras (1909 - 1990); Anthony Hinds (1922 - 2013) and Michael Carreras 1927 - 1994) - all the big names of the Hammer Films Company including the very rare signature of Will Hammer himself, signing as such and not William Hinds. Interestingly Will Hammer's signature is over a postage stamp of the era - a legal nicety of the times. An outstanding piece relating to Hammer's most sought after title - very rare paper for the collector. Rare / Unique

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) : Very Good ++ -: horizontal and vertical fold; very light edge / corner wear; overall, a very good copy.
