Seller's Description

ORIGINAL HORROR / SCI-FI / FANTASY MOVIE                          MEMORABILIA

The best site for rare, authentic horror movie memorabilia, including Universal, Hammer Horror, Amicus etc. original UK Quads, pressbooks, Front of House cards, autographs and more.

Original, Vintage Front of House Cards

All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

Note on images: I am no professional photographer and light sources and reflections may appear on the image that are errors and clearly not on the originals

This item A PRIME COLLECTABLE.  An original release UK Front of House card for this top title Universal horror movie based on Bram Stoker's famous novel. An excellent image featuring Bela Lugosi's Dracula and Edward Van Sloan's Van Helsing; the scene depicts Van Helsing's revelation of the fact Dracula casts no reflection and Lugosi's reaction. This card has an Eros sticker denoting it was also re-used for a later release of Dracula, although it is a first release card with this added sticker.   Such items, these days, are very tough to come by for the collector and rarely seen or offered.   Rare

Stars:             Bela Lugosi, Helen Chandler, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan.

Size:             8.00 x 10.00 inches approx.

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) Very Good +  -:   light corner pin-holes;  larger central pinhole to top middle white border; emulsion cracks to the surface (photographed to make them more evident, but better in reality when seen)  good corners and edges with a little corner wear; printed on thicker card; the card has painted colours to the verso - this was used in early cinema days with the intention of displaying the card with a light to the back giving a coloured effect to the b/w photograph - the colour does not show through unless a strong light from verso; overall,  very good. (see photos for further detail; feel free to ask for specific detail.)

POST & PACKAGING: all items are securely packaged, for as a collector myself I appreciated the need for secure packaging and all materials used are new. Posting / shipping depends on the item value and under £10.00 1st class post will be used; for items over this amount a tracked system will be used for both UK and international postings / shipping.
