Seller's Description
Double Pole, Twin Filament Bulb Holder / Bracket assembly to replace the original single filament bulb holder in a Lucas 1130 sidelamp. It has a parallel pin holder for a Lucas 381 bulb (included). These assemblies were produced by some after-market parts manufacturer to permit the use of flashing indicators within the torpedo lamp and save having to make holes in the bodywork to fit flasher lamps. When flashers were introduced in the UK clear, rather than amber was the norm and legal for a very few years. Not sure you could retro fit clear front flashers now. I think it's only legal on vehicles originally fitted that way. Maybe a better use for this would be to adapt it for use in a reverse / number plate lamp?
Distance between mounting bolts is 2 inches, base length is 2 & 1/2 inches and overall length (to well clear bulb envelope) is 3 & 1/2 inches.
