Dinky Toy #189 Triumph herald
Mint Condition
Complete with Original Box & Plastic Protector Strip Inside Box for Toy.
This is a model of a Dinky No: 189 "Triumph Herald" finished in Light Blue & White with Silver Spun Hubs & Treaded Tires.
The model was made by Dinky in England in the 1960's.
On the underside it states: "189 ... Dinky Toys ...Triumph herald... Made in England ... Meccano Ltd ".
As a child I collected Dinky toys (from about 1959 to early 1960s) and am now selling my antique toy collection. So, I am the original owner and can state that these toys were played with and not restored in any way. In fact, you are getting these toys the way they were put away so many years ago! I do describe the vehicles as best I can, by looking at them and research from books at the library. Please ask any questions you may have. The toys have been in a smoke free environment and will ship from Canada.

I reported that the postage calculation was not working a few months back. The only reply that I got was to use the actual Canada Post site. It looks like the calculator does not take into account the additional fees that Canada post charges ie: fuel charge. To try and compensate I add a handling charge even though it does not factor in properly either. One would think that the programming does not point to the final value, but to the starting value. This error cost me $10 out of my pocket when I shipped an item to Australia. Hope that someone will get this fixed soon.

is to invoice a buyer
after the sale, but
that may scare off
potential buyers with
the surprise at the
end.
I tried adding the
handling fee but it
tends to put a buyer
off with the thought
that I am adding in
another fee.
