Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 1/2 inch Still of DAVID MACDONALD directing a boxing sequence with DAVID FARRAR to his right and ’BOMBARDIER’ BILLY WELLS, the veteran amateur bxing champion, between the boxers for the 1949 Adventure DIAMOND CITY, from an original screen story by Roger Bray also starring Honor Blackman, Diana Dors, Niall MacGinnis, Andrew Crawford, Mervyn Johns, Bill Owen, Ronald Adam and John Salew.
A diamond field is discovered in South Africa, and British entrepreneur Stafford Parker attempts to exploit it while maintaining law and order in a situation of near-anarchy.
The still is in very good condition with a synopsis tacked to the reverse and a few fine surface creases at the lower right corner.
