Original circa 1839 7 1/2 inch x 5 1/4 inch Etching and Engraving titled DERWENT WATER & LOWDORE, CUMBERLAND

Engraved by William Alexander Le Petit (1804-1896). Landscape engraver.

Drawn by Henry Gastineau (1791 - 1876). An English engraver and prolific painter in water-colours. He was born in London to a family of Huguenot descent.

From "Westmorland, Cumberland, Durham, and Northumberland - Illustrated" from original drawings by Thomas Allom, George Pickering, &c., with Descriptions by T. Rose.
