Seller's Description
Two theatrical melodies from Decca Records, circa 1940. Both sides maintain an exceptional gloss and are mostly clean and rich sounding. Faint play wear is evident. Light scuffs and scratches, but background hiss is minimal. No cracks, skips, or chips.
Side 23775-A presents "Ol' Man River", from the Kern-Hammerstein production "Show Boat", and side 23775-B offers, "They Didn't Believe Me", a Jerome Kern - Herbert Reynolds collaboration. Both are performed by the Decca Salon Orchestra.
