Seller's Description
Al Jolson, the master showman of American theatre, whose career spanned fifty years of American Music history, was billed as "The World’s Greatest Entertainer".
Record #23613 is a Personality Series release from the 1940's. In excellent condition with a decent remaining gloss. No skips, cracks, or chips. Minor scuffs and scratches and some background hiss are to be expected. Otherwise, very clean and pleasant sounding.
This is record #3 (I have 3) from an 4-record set of music from the 1946 Columbia Picture, "The Jolson Story" with orchestra directed by Carmen Dragon. They are being offered separately for those wishing to acquire a single record. Multiple purchases will realize some savings on combined shipping.
Side 23613-A presents "You Made Me Love You" (I Didn't Want To Do It), and side 23613-B lists, "Ma Blushin' Rosie", both vocals by Al Jolson.
