Seller's Description

This is a pair of fox trot tempos from the legendary Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra. Using a large ensemble and exploring many styles of music, Whiteman is perhaps best known for his blending of symphonic music and jazz and produced recordings that were immensely successful, with press notices often referring to him as the "King of Jazz". Duke Ellington declared, "Paul Whiteman was known as the King of Jazz, and no one as yet has come near carrying that title with more certainty and dignity."

Side 2075-A presents, "My Reverie", an instrumental fox trot, and side 2075-B shows the fox trot"All Ashore". We grade this record as VG+ for sound and condition. Moderate wear of scuff and scratch marks barely affect the sound.
