Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1969 Don Siegel & Robert Totten Western DEATH OF A GUNFIGHTER, based on the novel by Lewis B. Patten and starring Richard Widmark, Lena Horne, Carroll O'Connor, Dub 'Cannonball' Taylor, John Saxon, Victor French, Harry Carey Jr. and James Lydon.
A Texas town's council fires the town's old-fashioned marshal who refuses to resign, thus leading to violence from both sides.
Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
